The intention of this Channel is to provide a collection of information related to barefoot hoofcare. Topics will be covering aspects of anatomy, physiology, movement, x-ray analysis, hoof and trim analysis, boot related material, and more. Feel free to make suggestions of what you would like to see covered. At the end, this Channel is for you, and consequently it should contain material that is interesting and relevant to you.
The content presented is based on my experience, lessons-learned, mistakes-made, over the 20+ years of Barefoot Hoofcare.
As a member of this Channel, you can also submit photos of hooves, x-rays, etc., and I can comment on them and put my feedback on here. Don’t worry, it will be done trying to avoid identifying you and/or your horse.
